New Look

If you aren't a regular reader, you may not have noticed that I gave my blog a facelift today. Inspired by other bloggers that have recently changed their look, I decided it couldn't be that hard, and spent a few hours this morning playing around with the new look... I'm really liking it, and I feel very proud and accomplished to have figured it out by researching how to implement the new look on Google. You can find anything on Google, can't you?!

I'm not sure why I decided to choose today to do this, as today was a special day for Brendan. His first day at 2-year old preschool!! It's actually a "Mommy-and-Me" class, but it's in the same building as the 3 & 4 year old preschools he'll be attending. But for some reason I just kept procrastinating this morning. The dishes were piled up from breakfast, toys were everywhere, Brendan needed to get dressed, as did I, but I just kept updating my blog. Every once in a while I have those days, where I know I need to get ready and be somewhere, but I just keep procrastinating...

Even when I put Brendan down for a nap I was playing around on the computer! I should've been getting myself ready, but I continued on my blogging mission. I like that it looks like a scrapbook page. It's the closest to scrapbooking I'll ever come -- I leave that up to my mother, who is extremely talented with scrapbooking! Well, I hope you like it!
