Easter Bunny

After several trips to the mall where we visited the Easter Bunny from afar, we finally decided to take the plunge and sit on his lap! Santa Claus didn't go so well this year, so I wasn't sure about the bunny.

Yesterday, I happened to be up at the mall and there was no one in line. I thought, well, let's do a test run before I get him in his "Easter outfit" and bring him up over the weekend. Surprisingly, he LOVED the bunny! He was petting him and showing him the car he was holding, and even sat on his lap without me... he loved it!

Jeff got back home last night from being in LA all week, so we got Brendan all dressed up in his, I have to say, ADORABLE Easter outfit (you can't tell in the picture, but the khaki pants even have little turtles embroidered all over them!). It is so "springy," a season we are all anxiously awaiting!! We made the family trip up to the mall and waited 30 minutes in line on a Saturday to see the bunny...

Well, of course now that he's all dressed up and I came fully equipped with my camera, he decides he's no longer in love with the Easter Bunny, but in fact, a little afraid of him!! I did manage to get him to somewhat smile, but, yesterday he was ear to ear smiles! Go figure.

At least this year's pictures of the bunny are better than last year, as you'll see below...

The Easter Bunny just said I'm too little to eat jelly beans!

What, mom? Did you say I can have a sucker when I'm done with this?
