The Muffin Man

We are desperately trying to stay busy around here! The spring weather can't come soon enough... this house is in need of some major spring cleaning, but all that seems to be happening is more mess!

Thanks to my cousin's wife, Rachel, I saw a pic of her little man "baking" with some muffin tins and cereal... Sometimes I really wonder if I paid any attention while receiving my Early Childhood Education degree! I should've thought of this on my own, but oh, well! I guess I just have to keep reading other people's blogs for ideas!

I'm often at a loss of what to do with this child day after day, since most organized activities last, oh... about 15 minutes! There are a LOT of 15 minute increments in the day. Let's be exact, and say, he's up for 12 hours a day, divide each hour by 4 increments of 15, multiply that by 12, and that means I need to come up with 48 different activities to do with him?!? Everyday? I'm tired just thinking about it...

Here he is doing some baking... just ignore the big blue marker streaks on each of his cheeks. That wasn't one of my "organized activities" but I guess getting into my marker stash does count for one of the 15 minute increments of the day today :-)
